# DESIGNING WITH CONFIDENCE: THE NATURAL STONE SELECTION PROCESS

### Thursday, December 3rd at 12:00pm CST

Join Buechel Stone’s expert Design Consultants for a practical conversation about moving from inspiration to an informed selection. From preparing for a stone design consultation to recognizing the details that are easy to overlook, they’ll share guidance for bringing your design vision and your project’s requirements together.

Whether you’re guiding a client or making selections for your own home, this session will help you approach a lasting decision with greater clarity.

**What you'll learn:**

- How to prepare for material selections, including the inspiration images, project plans, and complementary finishes that help make the conversation more productive
- What to consider beyond color, including stone shape, scale, texture, and natural variation—and how those choices relate to the architecture
- Often-overlooked details that influence the finished look, from lighting and surrounding materials to mortar color and joint style
- Design trends our consultants are seeing, and how to pair stone with evolving palettes and finishes while preserving a timeless architectural character
- How to use inspiration boards, installed panels, and completed project examples to better understand what your selection will look like at a larger scale
- What to discuss with your builder or mason before finalizing a selection, including installation details, overall budget, material availability, and project timing

You’ll leave with a clearer process and better questions to ask to ensure your stone selection supports the design of your dreams.
